SCDOT Requests Public Comment on the 2021-2027 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program to Include Bridge Replacement Projects in Fairfield, Greenville, and Pickens Counties
Chesterfield County - Jack Rivers RoadThe bridge over a Branch of Indian Creek on Jack Rivers Road (S-724) will be closed to traffic on 11/27/23 as a result of conditions identified during recent inspection.
Darlington County - SC 34 over Swift Creek - Bridge Closure
SCDOT will be preforming repairs to the SC 34 bridge over Swift Creek. The bridge closure and detour is tentatively scheduled to begin on October 9, 2023, and is expected to take at least three months to complete.
Marlboro County - Old Wire Road West over Wolf Creek
SCDOT will be preforming repairs to the Old Wire Road bridge over Wolf Creek. The bridge closure and detour is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 15, 2024, and is expected o be completed July 31, 2025.
